Celebrations : 2016-17

Junior Cultural Fest where student of classes III to IV presented a cultural bonanza was held at Raja Annamalai Mandram on 14th November 2016.Mr. B.N. Kaisar, Asst. Secretary & convener of A L Hira Model School, T.Nagar, graced the occasion and lit the lamp. A variety of dances from Classical to Tribal, English and Tamil plays, songs and a dance drama were a treat to the audience. It was indeed an extravaganza of budding talents!

Senior Cultural Fest celebrated on 5th November 2016 witnessed a galore of talents by students of classes VI to X Std at Raja Annamalai Mandram.

Dr. Aha Boaz Ramesh, trustee and Secretary of Boaz Educational Trust, Chennai was the chief guest.Students set the stage on fire with their confident and brilliant performances. Parents and guest were mesmerized by the dances, music and plays performed by the students.The cultural grandeur came to an end with electrifying performances by class X students.

Odyssey 2016 (Social Science Exposition) was held on 24th and 25th June. It was inaugurated by Mr. Venkatachalam .V, Dean of Vels group of schools.

The Expo was in fact an excavation to the realm of past.

Students displayed various models and projects related to the field of Social studies, encompassing the subjects History, Civics and Geography. The main attraction of the Expo was the PPT presentation on Thiruvottriyur and it was highly appreciated by the chief guest.

It is a one week event exclusively dedicated to bring out the hidden talents of the children, as part of the holistic development.

Various events were held which really helped the children to mould themselves as an all-rounders. This year many new events sol villayattu ,sol anthathi and sports commentary were added, The Mela was inaugurated by Mrs. Minoo Agarwal, Principal of DAV Public School, Velachery.

The Valedictory function was presided over by Mr & Mrs. Shakthi Prakash, Alumini of Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya who distributed the prizes too.

Every year, we celebrate Annual Day and Teacher’s Day together on the 1st Saturday of September.

This year it was celebrated on 3rd September at Raja Annamalai Mandram. Mrs. Sheela Rajendra, the Director, Dean and Correspondent of PSBB Group of Schools, graced the occasion.

ECCA students exhibited their talents through various entertainment programmes.The students who have secured A1 grade in different subjects were felicitated and appreciated during the function, with silver medals.Teaching and Non–Teaching staff were honoured with service Awards.People who contributed for the purchase of land for handball were also honoured during the function.The highlight of the entertainment programme was the shadow play, depicting the importance of honey bee.
