Where the explosion of ideas occurs, there inventors and innovators are born!The Contest Mela is a skill festival observed for a week every year in Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya where the skills of students are tested in several ways through distinguished tasks. To a reader’s surprise, this year, the school conducted nearly 150 events and awarded roughly 2000 prizes. The school campus and the campus of Golden Palace glinted with jaw-dropping talents and boundless energy. Every event sieved the students’ unstoppable quest and zeal beyond the four walls of a classroom and the pages of the syllabus. The Chief Guest, Mr. M.D. Omjaswin M.A., Senior Correspondent in the Times of India, an alumnus of our school presided over the fest along with his spouse and reminisced his years of schooling with a nostalgic fervor. He awarded the students and imparted the significance of being involved in all trips and activities provided by the school. The Guest of Honour, Mrs. Karthikayini B.E., Assistant Secretary of Avvai Ilankathirgal, was full of praise as she mentioned every event organized by the school. Some parents witnessed the students’ expertise and congratulated the school on its incredible initiation in tapping the students’ inborn potential. The Correspondent A.T.B. Bose educated the minds by portraying the inconsistent futuristic world before us in which, how the younger generation can lead a healthy and harmonious life. The awards and accolades in the students’ hands and the huge smiles on their faces emulated a strong sense of accomplishment and acknowledgment.
