INTERNATIONAL MOTHER LANGUAGE DAY CELEBRATION

“Language is one of the most powerful ways to preserve heritage; without language, cultural diversity would cease to exist.”

International Mother Language Day was celebrated in our school on February 24, 2024, at Thangam Maligai. To promote awareness among the students of linguistic and cultural diversity and to foster love for the mother language in the disappearance of languages across the world. The theme for the celebration was festivals. The enthusiasm of kids and parents was overwhelming as they took part in the display of chart models and in cultural programs and styles where they displayed an appreciation of the multicultural world. As a part of the celebration, our students are exposed to multiple languages, like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Nepali, et cetera, and we did cultures. The students and parents enthusiastically engaged themselves in traditional games and stage shows, highlighting the significance of the day in addition to the presence of the chief guest K A AZEEMA BEGUM and guest of honor S SELVAPRIYA. This gave a valuable message about the love for mother tongue as a primary tool for understanding and communication. The celebration was indeed at 7 p.m. Overall, the celebration was a grand success, with the pride and oath of “May multilinguistic be seen as a valuable asset and not a barrier.”
