CLASS III FIELD TRIP- DAKSHINACHITRA HERITAGE MUSEUM
Students of Class III went on an exciting field trip to DakshinaChitra Heritage Museum, ECR, a vibrant center showcasing the art, culture, and traditions of South India. The children explored traditional houses, craft displays, and exhibits that beautifully reflected the lifestyle of different communities. Students admired the beautiful architecture of traditional houses from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka.They watched live demonstrations of weaving, pottery, and puppet shows, which made the experience lively.Children learned about the importance of folk art, music, and dance in daily life during ancient times.They enjoyed interactive sessions on folk art and crafts, which gave them hands-on learning experiences. The visit sparked curiosity and appreciation for our rich heritage while making learning joyful beyond the classroom. The trip was both educational and memorable, leaving the students inspired to value and preserve India’s diverse culture.
