Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya conducted the mega Social Science Expo, Odyssey 2026, over two days on the 26th and 27th of June, earning appreciation from visitors and parents.
The expo highlighted the nine major dams of Tamil Nadu, the origins of its rivers, methods of water conservation and irrigation, the different types of soil, and the signature foods of each district.
Karmaveer Kamarajar’s contributions were especially highlighted through the construction of dams and the diversion of eight west-flowing rivers from the Western Ghats to the drier eastern regions of Tamil Nadu.
The Chief Guests on both days, Dr. Krithika Prithviraj, M.B.B.S., D.G.O., and Er. S. L. Diwakar, B.E., alumni of Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya, fondly reminisced about their school days and shared valuable insights with the students on leading happy, meaningful, and successful lives.
The fun-filled puppet show became a favourite attraction for students and visitors, offering them a light-hearted moment amidst their exploration of the expo.
The Senior Secondary students gained hands-on experience in value addition by preparing a variety of drinks and ice creams using jamun and watermelon, earning the customers’ appreciation.
Thus, Odyssey 2026, conducted for students from UKG to Class XII, extensively showcased the students’ talents in model and chart making, the parents’ support in executing the school’s vision, and the teachers’ expertise in effectively imparting knowledge to both students and visitors.
