CONTEST MELA 2026

Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya resonated with boundless enthusiasm and vibrant energy as it hosted its much-awaited Contest Mela 2026, a spectacular three-day celebration of talent, creativity, and teamwork. Organised with the objective of nurturing holistic development, the event provided students with an inspiring platform to discover their potential, exhibit their multifaceted talents, and embrace the spirit of healthy competition.

The Contest Mela featured a wide spectrum of individual and group competitions, including singing, dancing, oratory, sports commentary, drawing, painting, bouquet making, designing, and many other engaging events. Students participated with remarkable zeal, transforming the campus into a vibrant arena of artistic expression, innovation, and intellectual excellence.

A distinctive feature of this year’s mela was the emphasis on originality and collaborative learning. Participants in Musical Masters enthralled the audience by composing and presenting their own tunes, while the dance teams captivated everyone with self-choreographed performances. Traditional activities such as Thoranam Making and Stringing of Flowers beautifully showcased the richness of our cultural heritage. These events brought together students from different classes, who worked in perfect harmony, demonstrating cooperation, unity, and mutual respect. The exquisite flower garlands crafted by the students were presented to the Chief Guest during the Valedictory Ceremony, adding a heartfelt and memorable touch to the celebration.

The competitions were evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges who appreciated the originality, creativity, confidence, and exceptional efforts displayed by the participants. While the winners were recognised for their outstanding performances, every participant emerged enriched with valuable experiences, enhanced confidence, and cherished memories. As a special recognition of consistent excellence, the prestigious titles of Miss Wiz and Master Wiz were awarded to the students who secured the highest cumulative points across the various Contest Mela competitions, recognising their versatility, dedication, and all-round excellence.

The Valedictory Function was graced by Mr. Deepak MSV, an illustrious alumnus of Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya, as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, he applauded the remarkable talents, creativity, and confidence displayed by the participants. He commended the school’s commitment to providing a platform for holistic development and encouraged the students to pursue excellence with passion, perseverance, and self-belief.

Mrs. A. Sreedevi, Treasurer of the Class Parent Association, also graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She distributed prizes to the winners from Kindergarten to Class V and congratulated the young achievers for their enthusiastic participation and commendable performances. She appreciated the school’s efforts in nurturing creativity and confidence among students from an early age and encouraged them to continue exploring their talents with dedication and joy.
