Children's Day Celebration
Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya celebrated Children’s Day on 14 November 2022 in the school premises. Our students dressed up in casual clothes. The celebrations began with a prayer song followed by a cake-cutting. To support small-scale workers and prioritise the use of palm products, KBV organised a palm leaf workshop by Mrs Vanitha, where our children excitedly twisted and folded the dried palm leaves. Our teachers and board members tried a variety of palmyra handicrafts. Our teachers made the day extra special with their spectacular dance performances, skits, Stand-up comedy, Monologue and Villupattu. Kindergarten to class 11 students cut the cake in their classrooms and shared their happiness. Palm leaf gifts were presented to the students as a sign of affection and to educate them that our traditional crafts are now diminishing. The day was fulfilling with immense joy enthusiasm and magnificence. The students were overwhelmed and appreciated the efforts of the teachers to make the day a special and memorable one.
