ECCA DAY on 2025
Kavi Bharathi vidhyalaya celebrated its Annual Extra co-curricular Activities Day of Academy on Saturday 1st March 2025 in our school premises. The event commenced with the prayer song by the vocal students. The chief guest Mr.Kalidas,B.Sc, parent of K.Genelia V.C and Treasurer of the parents committee, along with the guest of Honour Mrs.Udhaya Murugan,B.Com. Treasure of Avvai Illangkathirgal was warmly welcomed. In the presence and guidance of our Principal Mrs.Uma Maheswari, the event unfolded seamlessly, celebrating the enthusiastic learners. The event started with the off-stage programme which was the chess where the young minds of children and parents, there was a match between the students and parents so interesting and it was interesting to see parents winning a few matches. We moved on to the cultural heritage of Traditional games. We had many traditional games like paramapatham, kalan kal and poo parika varigurom. It was a teamwork, and it encouraged the teamwork of parents who were lost into their childhood days while playing the traditional games.
We also had Art, and craft displays highlighting children’s fine motor skills, colour sense and artistic abilities seeing their work displayed publicly gives children a sense of pride and accomplishment.
We moved down to the Enhances vocabulary which was a Scrabble word building game. It encourages strategic thinking where players think ahead, plan word placements and maximize their scores using double and triple word scores. We had a display of the camera club where students have learnt to control the camera lens with the required amount of light in order to get an image that develops the artistic and creative skills in the children. Learning science Kindles curiosity in a child the young scientist of Kavi Bharathi was so curious in exploring different experiments and explaining to the guest.
We moved down to the on-stage events with the musical masters playing Keyboard, Guitar and Violin, the students highly skilled artist known for the expertise in composition, performance and innovation in music.
The classical dance is a traditional and highly stylized form of dance that follows specific techniques gestures and expressions. We had movements like Gymnastics, Karate and Aerobics which gives physical strength and flexibility to require a high level of body control strength and agility. we had children performing the Ancient Martial art using bamboo for self-defense, the students focused on fast movement and flexibility while performing Silambam.It’s the time for the official function which was honoring and facilitation of the ecca trainers.
We had a wonderful appreciation address by the chief guest Mr Kalidas He recognized the efforts of the teacher’s hard work to educate and guide the students often, going beyond their duties to ensure success. The guest of honour also appreciated the school for the students balancing both academic and engaging in hobbies. This always reduces stress and improves mental well-being. The chief guest and the guest of honour was given a memento as the token of love.
We moved on to the most exciting part which was the prize distribution of all the students who were the part of the ecca were honoured with the certificate and a trophy. Last but not the least, the vote of thanks was proposed by the red house vice-captain. The day was called off by the national anthem.
