Field Trip X – XII-2024

I am Preeth of Class X sharing my experience during the field trip, Vayal. We left the school campus at around 7.00 a.m. on 12 August, 2023. We were dancing on the bus all the way. Then, we reached Vayal by 9.30 a.m. We had a short break to have breakfast. We saw some newborn puppies, some rabbits, and some unique species of birds. We were stunned to see a parrot saying, hello. Then, we had a tractor ride and a bullock cart ride where we had a lot of fun. Then, we visited the dairy farm where we played with the calves and fed them with straw. We played many games with a beach ball since it covers acres of land. The blindfolded pot-breaking with a long stick demanded challenges. We had lunch at 1 o’clock and went into a mud pool, which was thoroughly entertaining. The main merriment was in the swimming pool. We were in the swimming pool for half an hour. Then, the peak moment of the trip was nature’s embrace in the form of a huge rainstorm as a farewell to us and we left Vayal by 3.10 p.m. We reached the school campus by 6.15 p.m. It was a buoyant and memorable trip for us. I thank my school for letting us stay in the lap of Mother Nature for an entire day.
