Flora and Fauna
One subject most kids enjoy learning about is animals. In this technological era, humans interact more with gadgets so it’s almost impossible to find time to interact with nature. To integrate the learning environment with a reverence for nature, Our school roofs have allowed students to get hands-on with science. The terrace garden was started in the year 2020 with a few pots of indigenous vegetables and flowering plants. And also to educate our school students about the significance of nature and its role in the environment, we joined hands with “Koodugal” – Network for Environment sustainability Trust. Our students put in their effort and made 200 nests to conserve the house sparrows. To help the sparrows from being extinct, more than 25 nests were fixed in our classrooms and it was distributed to the students, teachers, and others.
