International Yoga Day
Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya celebrated International Yoga Day with a yoga training session for the students. The programme commenced with prayer and our guest Ms Renuka Devi, a social worker and a homemaker who taught surya namaskaram, egapathasana and deviasana. She has shared her experiences on how yoga changed her life healthier and happier. Our students performed Surya Namaskar and Rhythmic Yoga. Our school teachers went to the orphanage and taught basic yoga postures. Our management contributed stationeries to the children. “Yoga has become the best way for physical and mental fitness”. It has been accepted as the best way to release our negative energies and embrace positivity in life. Our aim is to motivate students to get into the regular practice of doing a fitness regime.
