PONGAL CELEBRATION 

Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya celebrated the Pongal festival on January 14, 2026, with great enthusiasm and traditional spirit. The event was graced by our respected board members, SN Puvanenthiran Sir, Krishnaveni Mam, Renukadevi Mam, Mala Thangaraja Mam, Kokila Mam, and Suresh Sir. The program was led by Principal Uma Mageswari and Headmistress Gayathri, making the celebration meaningful and memorable.
The celebration included various cultural events such as speeches, songs, dance, and drama, highlighting the importance of agriculture and traditional values. The campus was beautifully decorated with colorful hangings, sugarcane, and vibrant rangoli designs, creating a festive atmosphere.
Students and teachers came dressed in traditional attire, adding cultural richness to the celebration. Chakkarai Pongal was prepared and offered to Mother Nature before being distributed to teachers and students. Pongal gifts were also distributed, and drums were presented to the Pre-KG and LKG students, bringing great joy to the little ones.
Traditional games like vadivasal, uriyadi, and tug of war added excitement to the celebration, and students actively participated with great enthusiasm.
SN Puvanenthiran Sir delivered a blessing speech, encouraging students to follow and respect cultural traditions. The program concluded with the Correspondent ATB Bose giving a final speech to the students and conveying his Pongal wishes to everyone.
