Rainbow Salad Day – A Crunchy, Munchy Treat
Rainbow Salad Day was celebrated with great excitement and joy as our students indulged in a fun and healthy experience. The event highlighted the importance of eating a colourful variety of fresh fruits, vibrant vegetables, and energy-boosting nuts — all in one delicious bowl!
Our School Headmistress encouraged students from Pre-KG to Grade II to bring a combo mixed salad filled with Fresh Fruits, Colourful Vegetables, and Nuts. This simple yet meaningful activity helped children enjoy the natural flavours of wholesome foods while learning about the power of nutrition.
The benefits of the Rainbow Combo Salad were visually explained using real fruits, vegetables, and nuts, making the session interactive and engaging. Students discovered how these three elements work together to help them:
- Stay fit
- Stay focused
- Stay full of energy
By exploring this colourful trio, children also developed healthy eating habits early in life — a gift that will support their growth, learning, and play.
Rainbow Salad Day truly turned out to be a delightful blend of colours, crunch, and goodness.
