INDEPENDENCE DAY

Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya observed 75^th Independence Day with great pomp and honour. The celebration started at 8.00am in the school premises. The special occasion started with the hoisting of the tricolor by the chief guest, Mr. Uthaiyasuriyan. The celebration was graced by the Board Members, Mrs.Kalavathi, Mrs. Kokila, Mrs. Uma Kamaraj, Mrs. Mala Thangaraj, Mr. Puvanenthiran, Mr. Suresh Karthikeyan, and Mr.Mahesh.

Selvi. S. Haritha from class XI, gave a speech on ‘Unsung Heroes ‘, who played an important role in Indian Independence. Following the speech, there were dance performances and other cultural events performed by students. Our Board member, Mrs. Kalavathi madam, showered her blessings on students with an inspiring message. The board member, Mr.Mahesh distributed prizes to the project winners from classes 3 to 10. The Chief Guest addressed the students with his inspiring words. He stressed upon the value of sacrifice, hard work, honesty and character formation. At the end, sweets were distributed to the students.
