Independence Day 2023

Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya celebrated Independence Day with unprecedented fervor on 15th August 2023. Mr N. Ganesan, grandparent of Rithik of Class 10 hoisted the flag at 8.00 a.m. followed by the National Anthem. The pledge was taken by our School Pupil Leader Sharaneshwaran followed by Flag Song. He then welcomed the gathering. Hindi and Tamil patriotic songs were sung by a group of students. The English speech was given by Priyadikshita of class VI C.

Dances and some scenes from the Quit India Movement ignited patriotism that enabled us to pay tribute full of reverence and gratitude to the freedom fighters. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering. A Board Member, Mrs. Uma Kamaraj, blessed the students with her valuable speech.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the Assistant School Pupil Leader Christy Nickson. The distribution of sweets dripped honey of emancipation into the minds and hearts of the spectators.
